About the Department of Mass Communication
Welcome to Department of Mass Communication
The Department of Mass Communication is a premier and flagship department of the prestigious Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, a TIMES world ranking university. Presently the department is mended with four Professors and one Associate Professor who have long and excellent teaching experience in the communication and media studies with alumni who made remarkable presence in the national news media and even settled with high ranked jobs in universities, media and other government and private sector media as public relations and advertising professionals. The department has excellent support staff and equipped with a production studio with news reading and editing facilities. The Department also offers other programmes like Ph.D. and M.A. in Mass Communication. The Department also much headway in the areas of Communication and Media Research.
